This Is About Love

“If you love somebody, let them go. If they return, they were always yours. If they don't, they never were.”

This quote is applied to the situation that your friend finds his or her lover a two-timer. It was a true story that happened a few days ago. My best friend in senior high school felt her boyfriend didn’t care her little by little. When she told him how sad she was, he said nothing except ”Don’t be sad.” After several days, she made up her mind to ask his true feeling about their relationship. Sadly, he told her he didn’t love her so much as he used to be and he loves another girl who is our classmate in senior high. What a tragedy it is! My friend can’t help but burst out crying every day. I know there is nobody can help her if she doesn’t change her thought. I think it suitable to tell this quote to her and whoever encounters the same situation like her. Although you may be extremely sad, it still cannot change the fact that he or her  doesn’t love you; as a result, let them go and also let yourself go.

This Is About Happiness

“Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections.”

No one is absolutely perfect. For example, your classmate is extremely smart, which is the envy of everybody; however, he may be poor at sport or singing. People are usually envious of others' strengths, not satisfied with themselves, and unable to embrace thier own defects. Why not just accept not only your advantages but also disadvanges? If you can entirely accept yourself and love yourself, I bet you will have more self-confidence, optimistic about the difficulties standing in front of you. Take Nick Vujicic  as an example. He was born without arms and legs; nevertheless, he never gives up and leads a positive life. If he can do it, it's not hard for us to accept our imperfections. All in all, after you've decided to look beyond the imperfections, you will lead a happier life than before, no matter what situation you are faced with.
