This Is About Wisdom

Be happy. It's one way of being wise.

When I first saw this quote, I couldn’t understand its meaning. After thinking for a while, I seemed to realize little by little. For example, someone carelessly broke the vase you treasure most, it’s no doubt that you must feel sad and angry. However, no matter how you were sad or angry, the truth that the vase was broken would not change. As a result, why you punish yourself because of other’s fault? Being angry and not forgiving others is actually not good for you at the same time; therefore, forgiving  others is also forgiving yourself. Be happy and optimistic is the wisest choice.

On the other hand, if a man is always in a good mood, everyone who sees him is willing to close to him and make friends with him. Being happy has many advantages, so let’s try to always keep in a good mood.

  1. Everyone wants to chase happiness. No one want to be sad. This is a simple reason to live the life, but why it's so hard to achieve? Sometimes we may care too much about what is just the thing like feather. Sometimes we may ignore the mood of ourselves.
So what we have to do is to keep mind simple. This may be hard to accomplish. I also work hard for it, for sometimes I may think a lot, and this is what I do not need to do.
Moreover, I hope you'll have more great time in next semester. Go for it!!!:)

  2. Since I'm now stuck with those two final reports with no idea how I could finish it, being wise and smart is definitely what I will be required to complete this seemingly impossible task that lies just before my eyes. But being happy? That's just about as hard to achieve as getting those final reports done. It's never easy to be happy with deadlines closing in. However, something does occur to me when I first saw this quote. I guess the reflection was due to the similarities between that "something" and this quote.
In the movie "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", young wizard Dave was literally on the verge of being roasted alive by a fire-breathing dragon while his mentor Balthazar advised him to "clear his mind" in order to work magical protections. (For the exciting clip, please go to this link to learn more details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-4pWLv5SLE) With a relaxed mind rather than a tense one might give people more solutions to solve a problem and might even have the magical effect like what you've just mentioned in the last paragraph of your post I suppose:)
As for now, I think it's time for me to work the magic of this quote myself on my reports XD!

  3. You are definitely right!
Since I was young, I had learned to be an always happy person.
In such a long life, everyone will inevitably encounter many setbacks.
If we can’t learn to take them all easy, we would never have the choice to make ourselves better and accomplish our dreams. Stop crying, move on, and smell to people around me. That is what I think and want to bring to others. Hope everyone can figure out the meaning in this quote like you, and try to live a happier life.
